Aces Routine tricks?

Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

Nah, was just thinking of using the aces as a theme for a routine, not an entire aces routine. Maybe add in some story about the special properties the aces behold.

Actually found an explanation on Michael Ammar's easy to master card miracles volume 1. It's a great trick, but it kinda bleaches a bit compared to the sanky sanders' four kings turning over turning into the four aces-routine in my eyes.

a set up i regularly use is pierres pop out move to produce aces from copperfields grandpa's aces then move to twisting the aces followed by a signed dr dayleys last trick with a 2 signed card in the card box kicker ending and it then makes it easier to get rid of the aces to.

I do two ace productions following each other. The first is in RRTCM in the overhand shuffle section and the other comes from Simon Lovells Million Dollar Card Magic. That one has a nice twist at the end

Can I just say I really don't like the Invisible Palm? I guess it's because of what Darwin Ortiz says in Strong Magic about how the audience shouldn't be thinking about technique, and when you say something like "I'm hiding the card in my hand," even if you're not, then people start thinking about how you could hide a card in your hand, then that leads them to more ideas on what you could be doing. And, forgive me if this counts as exposure, the effect itself uses palming later on... I don't know, I just don't like it too much.

End.

There's a stylish 4 ace production flourish that is within anyone's grasp on Volume 2 of the Sankey Sanders Sessions. Richard Sanders teaches it very clearly and the fact that it's filmed at silly o'clock in a hotel with Sankey shanking behind the camera, cracking jokes and trying to avoid a retake due to laughing just adds to the charm. I'd recommend the series generally. Staying loosely within the aces theme, and just to spice it up a bit, once you've done your 4 aces effect, why not add a further one of a kind and go into Re-Set by Paul Harris? it's pure sleight of hand, but looks like gimmicks are involved, and when you hand the cards to your spectator it will seem like pure magic.
