Just a brief note to say Hello to one and all - up to now I have been frequenting The Magic Cafe but thought I'd join this one as its "more local"
and I thought it would be nice to meet , hopefully, more of my fellow countrmen.
I am relatively new to magic, learning more as a hobby than with the intention to perform publicly.
I like all types of magic but lately have taken a leaning towards Coins
I am married to Jean and have two grown up Kids, Daniel just turned 24 and Emma 29. So as you may deduce Im one of the old codgers on here!!
I look forward to meeting you all.

cheers
Howard

and the onset of gradual insanity.

What do you mean? ( The mistress shrugs and goes back to her draughts game with Fernando, the marionette, who, by the way is winning.)
Welcome to talk magic. :D

Hi,BBB
clicked onyour "links" RRTCM and Bobos. Indeed ! I have them both. You really should add a further one to complete the "oft referred to trio" namely

Welcome to the board, Howard!

Some simple rules to follow when frequenting these halls:

1: Don't eat the red berries - they taste kinda funny

2: If you're around after midnight, tip the caretaker, Magicdiscoman

3: Don't take offense - but taking the gate is OK

4: Magic is more about personality, charisma and performance than it is about sleights, moves and manouvers - hence the fact that there is more personality, charisma and performance than magic in most of the posts here (Hmmm... try detangling THAT one!)

5: Be yourself. If you're not, how will we know it's you?

Joking apart, just enjoy.

This is the cleanest, most friendly Magic Forum you'll find in the next 10 seconds, so kick back, relax, and soak in the knowledge... it's free!

welcome to the forum, this may not be as big as other forums but size doesnt matter right??!?!?

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..

size doesnt matter
Is that from you or Mrs.Mog? Anyways, can I add my welcome - this is a smaller forum than Magic Cafe but it's nicely decorated and the staff speak the local lingo (sometimes) very well. By the way, may I add item 6 to seige's list above? Don't eat the yellow snow.
