The Thunderbolt Deck...

Postby IAIN » Jan 24th, '08, 21:43

I reckon only mr. tipton will have the answer, but please, anyone chime in if you have any info...

in Robert A. Nelson's "miracles in mentalism and psychic experimentation" - he describes some effects using a thunderbolt deck, however, he fails to mention what one is, or how to make one...i can kinda guess (maybe) what it is - but if anyone knows or any resource where i can get one - please let me know...

it sounds like a ps********* p*** deck to me...

Hmmm... The only Thunderbolt Deck I've been able to track down is one consisting of Marvel Comics characters.

Ah...Thunderbolt. That was my "code name" when I was a 13 year old super-hero. I had a partner called Lightning. We were Thunderbolt & Lightning and we kept crime off the leafy suburbs of Sheffield for, ooh, months. Not that we actually encountered any crime. Thankfully. We just ran around spooking old ladies with our brightly coloured underpants and wafty capes.

We were indeed very frightening. Though not in the way we intended.

unfortunately not...but thank you for looking...

the book was published in 1945, so I'm guessing its a precursor to another deck, but with a different name...
