Greetings! I am the one they call Casper. I perform great feats and illusions on a daily basis, for my job, for fun, and for the countless strangers that are eventually blown away grinning. I have always loved and found this art fascinating. I figure why not join this lovely forum here and share my experiences and questions with others.

Well to level the playing field, I am 18, live in B.C Canada and enjoy long walks on the beach. I am constantly learning this craft to perfect it, with a keen interest in street and closeup/mentalism magic. Why? I don't know. Personally I find it has an air of mystery surrounding it more than some guy who wears a top hat and cuts colored rope with his fingers. Not to diss on classical stage magic because there are some really ball busting performers out there. But I do find that more people would rather enjoy going to a party or do a job interview to find a cool guy that can stop time on their watch, and bend forks in their hands...rather than seeing some stage "magician" hauling around suitcases of silks and monstrous contraptions that are clearly fixed in some way. And I'm sure lot's you guys like me, feel the same way.

:D

Welcome!

I know how you feel about certain stage effects, I find that close up effects performed to a small and intimate audience have a much deeper and more profound impact!

Haha Moodini what a coincidence, You still live in O.K? I was near the lake and photographed something that greatly resembles the ogopogo. It was a floating log Lol

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
