The only thing I can say is that when you ask someone up to the stage, remember that - for the most part - they're not all that excited about doing it. Nerves, embarrassment, etc.
Make a point to ease their tension by asking for a round of applause as they come up. When the audience claps for them, it relaxes them and eases some of the tension out of them. It makes for a more relaxed and helpful spectator. Also - I'm not sure if you did or not (the applause for the effect drowned you out), but make sure you call for the audience to give your spec a hand - they're really clapping for you - but it does go a long way.
The only thing needed is a bit more presence on the stage. However - you can already see improvments from one video to the next, so your presence and confidence will only get stronger with each performance. Great job.
