Fully agreed with Beard on both accounts! :P Good stuff, man.

I love watching the classic ID presentation. I think that it is overlooked by many performers as being too long and this attitude has completely detroyed what is a powerful and entertaining routine.

Really, Mark - well done!

Just off hand, that by-play that you've got going with the guy...Is he really saying anything, or are you just blowing him sh*t for comedic purpose? Just wondering, really, because it's quite funny.

Mike.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your comments. Its a bit of both to be honest. I wait for his reaction, completely ignore what he says some of the time and just say the funny lines. To be quite honest, ive performed that routine many times, and they usually say exactly what I hope they will say! Works out great for me!

Glad you like it, hope for some more comments!

Mark

Goes right over my head I'm afraid. Maybe you have to be British. What's "eyes down" got to do with Bingo?

I listened to "Are you Jeff's life?" several times, rather perplexed at how one person can be another's life, before it occured to me that perhaps it was wife with bad Youtube audio. Still sounds like life to me.

When Bingo first became popular in the UK some 50 or so years ago it was played in Community Halls, Church Halls and other places until gaming regulations formalised the games and established some proper controls, but the old style traditions continued such as, at the start of each game, the caller would check that everyone was ready to start with the words, 'OK so it's eyes down and looking'... i.e. concentrate on your card 'cos here come the numbers!

Im glad you all like it!

I do the ID because its not known as a stage routine, its served me so well, and is very stong on comedy, in my opinion. Its amazing what you can get from the standard "shuffle the ID"
