If you can stick to the same brand and design of cards, you can separate card tricks with non card effects (coins, props or whatever) so you have a ready made excuse for putting the deck in a pocket until needed - when you bring out a different deck which just happens to look the same. If the decks are of different design to each other then you need something far more effective to explain the change!
