You misspelt that; the phrase invisable pass should read inadvisable pass. Fortunately you're in luck, because there are definitely people around here who can help you to perform one.

(Couldn't resist.)

Need more info exactly where are you stuck. Off hand I would say you need more practice. There is a book called, "The Pass" by Gary Oullet that I would highly recomend. For a few extra dollars there is a DVD that is performance only that goes hand in hand with the book.
Part of invisibleness with anything especially on moves like the pass lies in misdirection despite the fact that there are those who can or who claim they can do it while being their hands are being burnt.

I believe that there is a nice invisible pass in Expert card technique. It might be worth a look....

The turn-over pass is my preferred one.

On that subject there are people out there who can do a pass while their hands are being 110% burnt, there was an amazing magician (Mike)at a casino I worked at down South and his passes were (IMHO) flawless. My pass is nowhere near that level and relies somewhat on the off-beat and/or misdirection, although the turnover pass is always a gem

I remember being sat almost next to this guy and totally burning his hands the whole time and I couldn't see a thing with any of his passes and he was doing riffle passes, clasic passes and 'invisible' passes again and again even with the card at the b***k face up and I never saw a thing. Even though I knew what I was looking for I just didn't see a thing, a layperson wouldn't know what hit them!!

In fact he was one of the main reasons I got back into magic after being into it as a child and recommended RRTCM to get me started again...

I suspect that mysterico is not talking about invisible passes in general but The Invisible Pass, a Hugard and Braue exposition. I have a slim book exclusively devoted to this pass with very detailed step-by-step photos but that does not mean that I can do it

Hi Mysterico!

If you look further down the topics you will see I was having jproblems perfecting the top card cover pass (see "Top Card Cover Pass - Help!").

I got hold of a DVD called "The W orld's Greatest by the World's Greatest Magicians - Master Card Technique Volume 3". The music is a bit dated but the instruction on the invisible, cover and turn over passes is clear, easy to follow and in general excellent!

It available from 'www.jbtv.co.uk' for £14.95 and well worth every penny if you're serious about perfecting any of the above passes.

Good Luck,

Tomdom
