I'm shocked Tomo! You dont strike me as the pierced nipple type.

My girlfriend will probably second that "painful" is a woefully inadequate adjective for nipple piercings.

I'd like mine done but I'm too fat to ever take my shirt off :P

And I really like the idea of having a force card as part of a piercing. To my knowledge you can get card suit ear studs so all you need to do is find a number stud et voila.... anyone who has holes in their ear like me could do a magical body-mod reveal!

I took this tattoo about year ago:
Image
"Mundus Vult Decipi"

The text was found on the ace of spades on some ellusionist's deck :)
Asked the meaning of it from my girlfriend at the time (who was studiying latin), and loved the idea of a tattoo. The actual phrase goes on "Ergo decipitaur"
The font is my own.

Means "World wants to be deceived", which is suitable for me as a sceptic and a magician. It always draws attention when I do closeup and works as a misdirection also if I want to.
Maybe ill add the other sentence later, which means "So let it be deceived", when I feel like I'm good enough!

Also it can be hidden under a watch if needed.

I had mine done way back in 1994. The stuff they sprayed on beforehand did nothing to deaden it. The rush afterwards was amazing, though.

A friend of mine has this very cool tattoo. (It's original, if nothing else)...

I've got a small chain of hearts tattoed around my ankle, had nothing to do with magic though.

That EASILY beats the record for coolest tattoo I have ever seen. (This was a particularly easy record to beat, as there was no previous holder.) The joke might wear off after a few years, though.

I can't imagine getting a tattoo, except perhaps allergy information for doctors because medic alert bracelets are so prone to damage. But even that would be a big step for me.

I'm thinking of getting another tatoo.

Not magic related but I think it would be cool.
It's a Hammer and Sickle with Pacta Sunt Servanda written around it.

That's an interesting combination. Why a hammer and sickle and not, say, a pair of scales?

I think because it accurately reflects my social/political views but remains cryptic enough that people have to ask rather than judge.

hilarious. Was it one of those fold ins where it said "leader of the gang" when she relaxed and then "lets bang" when she squeezed her buttcheeks together? It wasn't Anabella Chong was it?
