Shimmed cards... HELP!!

I purchased shimmed cards recently.
I also have a'suitably attractive' ring.
If I mix the card in 'normal' deck. Force it. Then spread the deck. Is the card supposed to get separated?? It's not happening unless my ring is very close. Becomes too obvious.
Is my investment a complete waste???

I had that problem with shimmed cards and “Rings” I ended up getting a PK pro to do the job I wanted it to do. However the “Ring” can do much more if it’s a Wizard ring there is a forum on the site that can help you. Pm me if you need more details.
