I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a decent book on silks.

I've been hunting around on t'internet but haven't been able to find anything that looks all that good.

I suppose it rather depends on what you're after. "Self-Working" Handkerchief Magic by Karl Fulves is good. I can also recommend the chapters in Hugard's Magic Manual and Amateur Magican's Handbook by Henry Hay - and Tarbell, of course.

The standard work is Rice's Encyclopedia of Silk Magic, though I've never seen it.

There are four volumes of Rice's encyclopedia of Silk Magic. Which are supposed to be THE books on silk magic.
