I've got this DVD. I'll post some thoughts on it when I get a chance. (It's good).

It's a great DVD. They are simple effects, but they play very strong. Michael Ammar also is a great teacher, so they are easy to learn. If I remember correctly, many of the effects do require a little previous set-up, but it's quick. I would highly recommend it.

One last question how many tricks do you have (roughly) on this DVD?

pboparis,

I don't know if anyone can vouch for this list or if it's off a little, but I found this list of effects here: http://www.thetrickery.com/?nd=full&key ... sc1=altnav

TWISTING THE ACES
DALEY'S LAST TRICK
CARD WARP
POKER ROUTINE
POKER FACE
OVERKILL
CARD THRU HANKERCHIEF
CARD PENETRATION AND CHANGE
THAT'S IT
THE AMBITIOUS CARD
BONUS EFFECT: MACDONALD'S ACES

Yes, this DVD is superb. I perform several of these tricks and they are great. Twisting the Aces, Daley's Last Trick, Card Warp, Overkill, ACR and McDonald's Aces are my favourites (they even supply the gaff cards for McDonald's Aces). Ammar is a good teacher, if a little cheesey at times. These are some of the best card tricks you will find; Twisting the Aces is a classic and will give you ample practice with the Elmsley Count. I have the first three volumes of this series and they are all great.

In fact the whole set of Ammar's easy to master card effects is good.. I have had mine on VHS for many years. Prob the only reason I still own a video player.

One of my favs on volume one is Las Vagas Leaper. Changed it slightly using Rub-a-dub vanish and a David Wiliams card vanish. Its on for right out the box when someone asks to see something, you can even borrow the deck.

It is Michael Ammar. If you can get it then do so. It doesn't matter how many effects are on the DVD he is an excellent teacher and magician. All effects are miracles because it depends on the performer not the effect. all of the effects on the DVD are true and tried, and done right are amazing.

This could very well be the strongest DVD on card magic that exists.
Many classics that real workers perform at real gigs.

What more could you want.

This is quite a list:
TWISTING THE ACES
DALEY'S LAST TRICK
CARD WARP
THAT'S IT
THE AMBITIOUS CARD
BONUS EFFECT: MACDONALD'S ACES

You could make a living perfecting just those card tricks.
