Ps that room upstairs is perfect old chap I have to agree. I can see its uses in lots of ways, even plain old magic
Time for everyone to get script writing and launching a show!

Interestingly the Manchester Meet now has a regular booking!
exact details to be discussed but essentially the Lass O'Gowry are looking to "sponser" our meets! Once a month we'd spend a few hours there having the meets as normal with a little performing if we chose to!
In return each person will get 5 free drinks and a meal!
How's that for a result! And there will be no pressure to perform and we can chill out as usual so essentially a normal meet.
I was quite happy with that bit of negotiating!
That's genius, mate!

Yeah, was a good day, I had fun and things really did pick up once everyone started to arrive
That room is very nice. Enough room for a small audience, even has a stage and AV stuff which is very cool

Just to keep you all posted, I'm meeting the pub tomorrow to discuss a kind of deal.
I can't make the 28th Feb so I won't be arranging with the pub for the next meet I attend to be then. I'll try set the next three months with them to see how it goes.
Does this sound ok to you guys? I think I'll be aiming for the first or 2nd weekend in March as well for the first one.

I suspect MagicDiscoMan wasn't the only one being confused but you did say you were away beging.

Right Guys
Here is the crack (IB)
The next Manchester Meeting is on Saturday 14th March from 5 - 9 pm we'll be hanging out at the Lass O'Gowry who will provide us with a hot meal and 5 beverage drinks in return.
What they want in return is......... what we usually do on the meets when we've been in there so no real pressure to perform although no drink or food if you don't. They know we're on a social ourselves.
How's that for a result so who is in for the next meet? Obviously we'll start off else where and maybe move on afterwards.
Oh and the one after will be on the 11th April so lots of notice to clear the diary, Will make for a cheap day out if you've had to travel there, easy no pressure environment to perform etc so come on down and give it a go

28th sounds good as well, the more performing you do the better you get and the meet lot are easy going and willing to offer advice! I can't make the 28th but would love to be there.
Usual meet on the 14th March - so meet early, chat show off drink beer etc before finding out self sampling the ales in the Lass O'Gowry. I'm not an ale drinker but they have some pretty nice ales to be fair
