I don't have colour burn but the two are very different effects so it would be hard to compare anyway.
As for your questions:
//are all fingers shown throughout the rise? Hard to say without exposure
//is the rise slow and controlled? Yes with practise
//is there any way of seeing a video performance anywhere, if not, how good are the angles? Angles maybe a little tricky if surrounded but good crowd management should sort this.
//do you personally like it? For what it is I like it. There are better but require more preparation or gimmicks. I love the rising card on Covert Magic by Ian Morain but I can't stand using the item required but most magicians use it a lot. So it may be worth a nosey as its almost impromptu also.
//are you able to show the box, at a glance, or is it not able at all? You can show the box but I wouldn't be too generous with hand outs.
If anyone feels this is exposure let me know and I'll amend accordingly.
Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.
