To speak with the Rolling Stones: Please allow me to introduce myself...

I'm a 45-year old ICT professional from Belgium who got hooked on magic on a business trip to New Orleans just before Katrina wiped her off the charts a few years ago. The salesguy at the magicboot in the local mall swept me completely off my feet with what I now know to be a card-across routine, and I knew immediately: this is it!! Since then, I've been spending almost every free moment reading books and watching DVD's about magic, and am still enjoying every moment of it.

I announced myself as an AH, but consider myself (forced by circumstances) a rather theoretical guy (a 'magignost'). Given my very sparse free time (I have to divide my time between a very busy professional schedule, driving the kids around, running a sportsclub with over 120 members and managing a few (amateur) websites), I haven't performed yet. I hope to one day, but in the mean time, I prefer spending every free minute on reading. As such, I've gathered quite some books and a little knowledge in the past few years, and perhaps I can throw in my two cents by doing some reviews or add an opinion here and there. Let's see how it works out...
