I know there's a thread on it here somewhere

There are pros & cons with it but a beauty of a piece when you finally get the hang of making it happen.

I've got one as you know chris, but its hard to really tell you much without tipping it.. I'd say that you have to be sure you'd use it.. given the price.

When you get it you'll actually thing... is that it?? but when you actually get the balls to use it... it works like a charm..

I dislike the fact that there is no dvd or even booklet, but you do get the URL and password for a forum that contains the video clips and discussions with chris.. its a good place to get to grips with extended uses of the device..

the bottom line is that this will allow you to do a real time PK touch type effect on a spectator.. you could be standing next to them, or away from them. You can touch another person, and have a second spectator feel that touch (this has been done on TV)

if you already do a PK touches type effect then I'd say you'd get alot of use of out of this.. if not, or your only interested in the idea, then I'd say it might be expensive!!

I did it to some magicians, and they had no clue on the method.. I actually did it from some distance away.. and the spectator had no idea of how I did it... you also leave them clean at the end, so he could just walk away...

nice kit, but nice price... :)

Its not the price that bothers me....I think its a fab idea, Im just a bit suspect that a spec might want to check a certain thing on your person (with giving to much away)....I know I wud want to check!

Is there a website with this product on or a clip of it being used because at the moment it sounds like something that I could use.

Can this be used in a working close up environment? I mean can you table hop or go from group to group if needs be?
Or is it something that needs setting up in a certain place prior to performance?

Cheers

Yes but I wouldn't recommend it as part of your strolling work in that the gimmick would probably have to be replaced at least once each evening if not more and that could be a royal pain in and of itself. Secondly, because of some of the things involved with the operation, you'd have to do some seriously planning so as to get things "set'... I can't say a lot on that front but there is a "trick" to it, so to speak.

My personal use of the device is typically a pre-set during the opening minutes of my Seance show and in one particular segment, an imaginary spider bites on the spectators on the nap of the neck...
