Just wanted to say "hello". I've been lurking (although I don't like that particular word, it has connotations of being some sort of criminal!
) for some time, but decided to take the plunge and register.
I was interested in magic as a teen, having a number of Paul Daniels tricks, but drifted away a few years later. I still performed the odd card trick for family every now and then, but it wasn’t until recently that my interest was reignited, as it were.
My interest at the moment is chiefly cards, although I’ve bought some sponge balls and am intending to work on those too. I’ve been working my way through RRTCM and have been reading a couple of other books (MWCCIM and Harry Lorayne’s CUCM), as well as watching some Michael Ammar DVDs. I’ve been performing, such as it is, to family and friends with reasonable success, unless they're being kind
