Don't take this in a bad way, but you might want to work on your handling a bit more. The ones that stand out the most is the initial card placements, because you struggle to do the sleight.

Just keep practicing the sleights, and eventually it'll become second nature and you won't be struggling so much!

I heard chinking when you were placing the cards over the coins. I know nothing about coin magic but I know that's probably not a good thing.

I like the cards though, hehe. Fan back Tally Ho Vipers, eh? Swish :)

It was OK, but there was no patter.
If you had dressed it up a bit I could have missed some of the telltale clinks.
Your handleing will improve with paractise and there was a slight flash at the start when you place the last card.
Hope that helps!

When I use to perform various matrixs, I used smaller coins to avoid clinking, and once I had nailed the positioning and control of them, moved on to your average size coin with a lot more elegance and a lot less clink!

Liked it otherwise!

K. I'll work on the coins aswell. Smaller = Better? Or Smaller = Harder?

Smaller is neither really, but they make less noise, as youc an imagine...the noice is made my...well you know, don't want to expose anything, but smaller coins mean more room under the card for the coins to not touch.

Smaller coins are not the solution. In fact you can use bigger ones. Practice and presentation is the issue. You do all right just needs to be smoother and you also have to present the effect. As it stands it falls flat.
A matrix is a wonderful effect, treat it as such.

Hmm, I must be mellowing in my old age, usually I'm just offensive.

In truth the post speaks for itself. I only hope it helps.

Hmmm... Maybe it's just the fact that I'm new to magic. Soon I maybe better.

In truth my previous posts speak for myself. The others do help other than you.

bmat is right. Its all in the presentation. And in truth there was none.

Add some patter to go with the video, make it smoother which will come and before too long you will be performing a nice smooth matrix :)

Its always good when you get constructive criticism, it shows people want to help you.

If you have no feedback, how would you feel? It would indicate that no one really cared.

I think that the surface you are performing on is too soft. It is very difficult to put the cards down without fumbling. To me it looked like you maybe were picking something up from below the third card. I wonder what that might have been.

;-) ;-) ;-)

Try with the magic mat on a plane surface like a table. This might make it easier to do the moves.

Also there were no sound track on your performance ;-) I think its a good idea to do matrix to music. This way you also make sure that there are no strange sounds of clashing coins (I did not hear such sounds).

The cards looked twice as large as when I am doing matrix. Impressive!

Magic is slight of mind!
