Today my smallest brother had a birthday with his friends and I've done some magic in his party I started I was scared but when I started doing some magic there was a kid which was ruining it all by telling to everyone what was going to be the end of the trick which made it seem boring for everyone and for me it was hard to continue any tips on how he could SHUT UP!

Well, what effects were you performing, and how well were you performing them? Did the audience want to see a magic performance or would they rather have been doing something else? How old were they? How did a child know how your effects were going to end, had he seen them before or were they being badly performed? Also a very important question has to be how old are you?

There are a million and one threads about audience management and dealing with hecklers if you do a search, but I'm not sure if there's much on how to handle a heckling child, other than to send him to bed with no supper. Or kick his little head square off.

First the kid's show was for people from 8 to 9 years old. The tricks I did where: Sponge, card, coins (two of each). I don't think everyone wanted to see magic but at least half of the 8 person audience. I presented the tricks well and did them well (at least well enough for them not to see how I could do). Otherwise he knew it because I had all ready done my sponge routine and the one where someone signs a coin and appears in a closed box then inside another box closed and finally a bag all of them where closed by elastics.
