Cool patter for " The Trick That Fooled Einstein"

Postby Ian The Magic-Ian » May 23rd, '08, 21:52

Well I won't give scripted patter for it, but I'd like to share an idea for some cool patter for "The Trick That Fooled Einstein", here's the basics, this will leave room for creativity in the patter, but the basic idea is this. (Wow that was a long sentence.)

Base it on what is known as the "Chaos Theory or Butterfly Effect (yes I was inspired watching that awful movie) but the details are really long to describe but, here's the basics. You explain how the weatherman (sorry, meteorologist :>) is always wrong, he usually predicts the effects of the weather four to five days before hand. Well one small thing, one SMALL thing such as a change in wind to one degree can completely change the weather.

Basically one small thing such as the flapping of a butterfly's wings, can cause a tsunami on the other side of the world (sounds far fetched but you have to say this with conviction even though it's just a theory not proven fact. But it makes sense) Well whatever your counting explain this to them and ask them to discard between one and five, and discard that many coins. Explain that this effects the outcome of what you chose. This is where I can't figure out how to end it  So if you want to use this go ahead if you just want to end it normal or if you want to figure out an end for the effect I'd really like to know how.

Just bored and brainstorming.

Enjoy adding on if you can,

Ian

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.
