Anyone ordered from here

http://www.kardwell.com

Its an American website, so I wondered if it checks out ok and if anyone has used it before as there are a couple of things I wouldnt mind getting on it.
Also, roughly how long extra do you have to wait for international orders, and are there any hidden taxes with buying internationally, as I have never done this before!
Thanks,
Dave

I think it depends on the value as to whether or not they sting you for duty. I don't know much about it to be honest; others will fill you in, I'm sure. I've ordered DVDs from Japan that only took three days to arrive, also stuff from the USA that took about a week. I think delivery times are luck of the draw to an extent, although it obviously depends on the method of dispatch, too. I only order things from abroad if absolutely necessary because I'm paranoid about things going wrong, stuff not turning up, etc.

I've had some experience with Kardwell for custom orders and that kind of thing. As far as business practices and legitimacy issues go - they are well above board, and I would recommend them to you for any projects/orders you have.

Quality-wise - they are very good. Not sure if this is a deal breaker for you, but don't expect to see "bicycle quality" cards in their custom work. Their products are very good, and the quality is good - but they don't use the same types of finish as Bikes.

I can't speak for international shipping questions, so I would say you'll have to contact them for information on that.

What did you want to purchase from them?
