NOT the ellusionist ones for start.

Im far from an expert on IT but you'd do well to check out Michael Ammars easy to master thread miracles volumes.

Yes Rachel.

1) They are made by Ellusionist.. hence.. WAY Overpriced.

2) They dont really teach you anything.

3) If your going to spend money on a volume of DVDs.. then buy the best.. hence.. Michaels Ammars series.

4) keep repeating 1 to 3 over and over till you realise that Ellusionist should be the last place you ever stop.. for anything. UNLESS.. you are me. In which case you buy everything.. because you like.. have to??

Oh.. and welcome to TM :D . I (I.D) would be TM's resident Monkey in a suit running round with a gun and wondering how I'm not yet in a straightjacket :? or something like that..

Although I have never seen the Easy to Master Thread series, if they are anything like the ETM Cards and Mental Miracles, then you are in for a treat.

You certainly are in for a treat.

Theres a wonderful bit where you see this old man fiddling with a par of tights... and he CLEARLY knows WAY too much about tights , suspenders and pantyhose

The Best Thread Videos Available

:D In addition to The Michael Ammar ones there is
Who's Afraid Of IT. dvd Jon Le Clair who preceded this with a lecture in Davenport's Studio & then a book on the subject.
These 2 constitute of the most practical and informative works available.

There is a dvd (possibly for advanced workers by Finn Jon) And another again not for beginners by Victor Voitko

For beginners you might start with
Thread Reference by Leo Benkhe..The Magic City booklet series, around £2:50p
