I know that feeling fella, I went out without anything a few weeks ago and got occasioanlly pestered for a trick. Then sometimes i go out ready to perform and no one is bothered.
If you find yourself with no "equipment": Check with bar staff to see if they have a deck of cards or something behind the bar. or just find a pen and do some prediction tricks on bar mats. Or... wait for it... Coin Tricks!

But i would say, just put a deck of cards in your back pocket, better to be prepared and not need it...

On that note: I'm out with some work people for a few drinks and a meal tonight and i have no less than 5 decks of cards in my jacket.

Custom R&S decks made to specification - PM me for details

I tend to carry at least one standard deck on me with either a Phil Plus or a setup trick like Strangers Gallery.
Unless I am popping to my local pub, then i'll take my bag with more.

My Mirage Wallet and Deep Astonishment 2 turned up recently. I think I will need to start wearing a jacket or coat out so that I have more and bigger pockets to keep these on me.

Where you planning on going out?

I've always found that you can't plan on doing magic on nights out. There's nothing worse than being on the tiles with strong banter only for some eejit to pull out a deck of cards and try to do magic. Thereby breaking up all the laughing with some trick. You have to find the right time and place.

I also never try anything sleight heavy after a few boozes. Last time I did, my hot shot cut ended up as a game of 51 card pick up (I caught the spec's card alright, but the lunge for it resulted in some unwanted laughing).

I've found that sponge balls work well with drunk people and are not too hard to perform. So I usually stick them in my pockets if I'm on the razzle.

First and foremost have a good ol night anyway Chris and just see what happens.

Also as my mum always tells me- if your not in bed by 12..... come home. :D

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.

If your friends don't want you to, don't be a bore! :D

Actually, I agree with Lawrence. Slap a deck in your back pocket just incase, you don't have to use it.
