Flashy's off to sunny spain... El viva el Flashy... tralalala... El flashy's on his way!

As a sub note I played my musical saw at the Royal Festival Hall today...

So I now know exactly where I'll be off to; I'll be working at a resort on Fuerta Ventura. I've just spent the last week working on new material with some great people and I'm absolutely raring to go.

Woohhoooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do chums!!!

So I'm back in the UK for a wee while and thought I'd better report how things have been diddling.

I was sent by my agent to the hotel 'Oasis Papagaya' in Fuerte Ventura for a six week contract as a specialised Childrens Entertainer. The job was fairly laid back and the team were all very nice, but after two weeks my colleague in Mallorca fell ill and I was sent to replace her.

Mallorca was alot more full on as I was split between two of Thomsons flagship hotels, the Bonaire and the Coma Gran. But due to the increased workload I felt far more challanged and therefore enjoyed it more. The job could have been made for me and my employers are really happy with me. On top of this I've developed loads of new material, a tan and even found myself a lovely new girlfriend (grrrrrrrlllll dingedy dong ding dong). :D

I'm heading back there for the October half term and who knows where else after...

All in all it's been a top experience and

Nice to have you back old bean

I read all about your escapades on Magic Week (www.magicweek.co.uk) and by the sound of it you had a cracking time and got the kudos that you deserved.

I have a feeling that you're going to be spending quite a bit of time abroad each year

Just out of interest, did you come across any other magicians on your travels?

For sure Dat.

I spent a week rehearsals with the other guys who were doing the same job in other Thomson hotels and two of them are magicians. They are regulars at Covent Garden and good magicians as well as being jolly lovely chaps. I'm afraid I can't remember their second names ( ) but their first ones were Jason and Andy.

Kudos to them both! There were several other magicians floating around the bars of Cala Bona, Cala Millor and Sa Coma but I was so devillishly busy I didn't see any of them (I didn't even get to go to see the much talked about Pirates in Palma)

Just to ammend that last post, Jason Mawdsley and Andy Prince are the two talented magical chappies I mentioned.
