For me, it has to be American Girl by Tom Petty and the heartbreakers (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ArmSBT2WL-4 this is a pretty good version at Live Aid). Perhaps a slightly sinister choice, as this is the song being played in Silence of the Lambs by the girl before she is kidnapped by the serial killer... ah well... :D

Over to you guys...

Killing In The Name by RATM!!!

The same three or four lines repeated over and over like a mantra, but such a powerful, epic, heavy rock, anti-racism anthem!!

I will sing along to just about any song that takes my fancy. Unfortunately, I often do not know the words so I frequently find myself making up my own, ludicrous lyrics.

'Don't Stop Me Now' - Queen/McFly (I have an excellent falsetto...quite possibly from all the times I've been kicked by Lommie, over the years!! )

Oooh good choice.

I can't post a link because of the lyrics :D But "Kickapoo by Tenacious D". Or...."State of the Union by Rise Against.

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

Queen of Clubs, if you like rock intensity, have you heard much Big Black? Not always reliable but still some great songs, Kerosene and Passing Complexion being examples. I presume you've heard The Pixies.

Mine would have to be Pink Triangle by Weezer (with a Sims video here!) Running the World by Jarvis Cocker and surprisingly - because I'm not a big fan of the band generally, and it's a pretty mainstream entry for me - Why Do I Keep Counting? by The Killers.

I have a habit of singing along to instrumentals after a few too many sherberts...

Does that count?
