Postby G-Man » Jul 13th, '08, 23:24

Hi

My name is Adrian, i am 19 years old and I live near Frankfurt in Germany.
So i ordered RRTCM a couple of days ago and will be receiving it in the next days.
Since im from Germany maybe you guys have any ideas if there are Magic-online shops, which dont have expensivee shipping fees for outside of the UK?
Maybe you guys also have a link to a German magic Forum?
Also could you provide a link to where i can buy the best cards for a beginning Cardmagician?

So long and cya

Hi and welcome!

By best cards, do you mean which decks we use?

The most popular seem to be Bicycle, Tally Ho and Bee decks. Though I am sure there are many other decks used out there.

I would suggest, if you can get a good shipping price, to pick up some Bicycle Seconds. These are cards that have been rejected by the very strict process the cards go through. They may have a slight mistake, but I have not had a deck that has had a really bad mistake on it.
Because of this you can pick them up really cheap.

Have you gone for the RRTCM dvd or book?

just about any decent pack of cards will do for magic. Those are bicycles, which are perfect.
