Last month's Genii (July issue with some bloke hanging upside down on the cover) comes with a free sample of one of the cards, along with a good few routines to get you started.

I think it's quite a novel idea, but I'm not sure how many people would fall for it, or how good it would be in the real world. I can think of quite a few uses right away, and would happily pay £5-£10 for a set of 'refills' to play about with.

Genii goes into quite a bit of detail, and gives you a single card to use, so it may well be worth tracking down a copy if you're seriously considering buying this.

Queen of Clubs - fantastic review BTW, lots of detail, and very enjoyable. Thanks.

I got mine yesterday. It's a well produced product and although the cards are packaged very tightly, I didn't have any damage problems. I'm still studying the dvd (I like the card to mouth routine), i imagine leaving the signed card and wandering off clutching my drink (actually not 100% sure about leaving a card I've regurgitated, [perhaps not).

One routine makes use of 'blue glue' (rubber cement I assume??). This would be my favourite by far - but I can't get the card in a reliable enough state to let the spec handle. I'll keep experimenting - maybe it's me - but it's a great pity. However, the card to mouth makes the trick worthwhile. Spare cards would be good although I guess white spirit would remove sharpie signatures.

Off to New York tomorrow on Queen Mary. I'll seek out magic bargains and try to persuade my wife to let me use my credit card ......

I also bought omni deck but didn't get a discount?? (is it because I'm not called Ian? - not that I understand the previous banter)

No, completely different. Similar products are Changin' Glue and Zig Glue. You might find it easier to look for either of those, because there are lots of products called Blue Glue, some of which have the necessary properties and some of which don't.

Sadly, NUMS seems to be out of stock at the moment, but this will give you enough information: http://www.nothingupmysleeve.co.uk/mark ... ucts_id=29

Also known as Repositionable Glue and I beleive Pritt (or Scotch or someone very much like them) have released their version which looks just like Pritt Stick rather than in a bottle or applicator.

Clever gimmick but unfortunately the card that has the transpo sig can't be handed out for examination which kills the effect.

Though i gotto say great DVD and explanations of the effects.

Any replacement packs of gimmicks sold?

Hmmm...

I got my copy September-time last year and - whilst there are some really eye-popping routines (not to mention a TON of additional uses) - I found to my dismay that my gimmicks suffered from the dreaded 'Packed Too Tightly' defect.

I duly emailed Lee H at The Magic Cave, who promised to get me a replacement set out...and, reviewing this thread, I've just realised that was the last I heard

I've popped him another mail out today, to see if he can help, and then - fingers crossed - I'll be able to add a valid review to this thread :D
