Well, see, I don't know your situation. On the surface, this would seem to be a simple and innocuous question, but there is so much more...
What kind of clothes are you wearing? If, for example, you are wearing a shirt with long sleeves, then the answer is one thing, if you are wearing a suit jacket (or other kind of loose fitting jacket), then the answer is something different, if you are wearing a t-shirt, then the answer is completely different.
So, the first thing that you have to consider is clothing.
Next, there is nothing that you can use that is absolutely invisible in the hand. You must get the ignition system there and you must ditch the ignition system at some point.
Compare this to using a TT. "The Thumb Thing" is an excellent choice if you are willing to use a wheel and flint system and you are well practiced in the art of using a TT invisibly.
On the other hand, an electronic system is much more bulky. Somewhere, somehow, you have to have a battery (or batteries).
The real problem that guys run into when deciding on which system will work best is that they have no real experience with these things. They want to produce fire at their fingertips without considering each and every point of a performance that will effect their ability to steal the gizmo and ditch the gizmo. They are unfamiliar with wheel and flint systems as opposed to electronic ignitions (or even chemical applications in the use of making fire with no visible means).
What is your stage like? I know, you mean close up, but nevertheless you are on a stage. So, are you sitting down at a table which will allow the use of your lap as a servante? If so, then you can reasonably get away with a bulkier system. Are you standing up? Then you will need easily accessable pockets - loose fitting clothing as opposed to tight jeans and t-shirt - for stealing and ditching.
However, if you purchase any of these systems with the thought that you can openly, cleanly and slowly show your hand empty, produce fire and immediately show the hand again, openly, slowly and cleanly empty, you are going to be terribly disappointed.
