Not sure if anyone had these as kids, but I'm waiting for someone to release one of these as the ultimate stealing gimmick.

Isn't it strange how some magicians don't want to be tricked themselves! We're all Freudian nightmares aren't we? But I agree with your level of suspicion here mate....the demo video looks impressive, but then again - they'll never show you just how rubbish this utility device can look sometimes from various angles.
Not to mention if you start vanishing peoples phones or wallets like it says you can.....you're going have to make the trick look somewhat pointless and a total anti-climax when retreiving the spectators items from, erm, where they end up!
No doubt there are probably countless ways of trying to do this discretely whilst being fully observed - but you must surely agree that if you gave someone your phone or wallet, and they made it vanish - you wouldn't take your eyes off that person until they gave it back.
Besides it's too pricey just for a p**l. Save your money dude - invest your time and cash on something else....but if you've already got your heart set on vanish effects, i'd recommend shopping around for an alternative to the Gecko.
Maybe the Raven (it's mostley used for coin vanishes though) However, it's cheaper, and if you just stick something adhesive on the end, you've practically got a p**l which will vanish most small objects other than just coins.
Good luck in your search. Hope you find the vanish effect which suits you best. Tyler.
