Sankey's Pouch.

Postby Kroots » Jul 18th, '08, 18:38

I've seen Sankey use this multiple times. Its some sort of leather wallet/pouch that springs open at the top when you squeeze the edges together.

It makes an appearance in Sakey's 'Extemely Mental' (Boris Pocus) in the Siamese twins trick, if anybodyhas that.

I'm just wondering, if anybody who knows what I'm talking about, knows where i can find something similar. In the UK as well.

Thanks.

I see nothing but complaints about his pouches in terms of durability and workmanship but people keep buying them. Amazing.

You can get Sankey goods wherever you are, but I thoroughly recommend you DON'T buy this. It's nothing but a cash cow, and if you think Sankey really uses it in his performances... well, you deserve to lose your money!

Tony,

Thankyou, that was exactly what i was looking for.

When i wrote the first post, i did not assume nor was i asking for a gimmicked wallet made by sankey. I was asking for an ordinary pouch that i had seen him use various performances. Nothing Gimmicked.

But thankyou Tony, spot on.

I'm not exactly sure what the sankey pouch looks like but we make a "squeeze purse" for color changing knives. the inside is for holding "smash climax knives" or an "endless chain" or whaever, for that mater.

Lol. Thanks for the input Michael. What is the Gemini Pouch anyway? I assumed from the demo it was just a switching thing. Very basic from what i saw.

Can't possibly tell you that! I'd be exposing a powerful tool for magic and mentalism!

Well, it won't be exposure for me to answer the question, because, in all honesty, I have no idea! I just checked in at Sankey Magic and that's what he had on offer, so I thought that maybe it was what you were looking for.

As it turns out, though, I was wrong...Well, what can you do?

Mike.
