I'm still stumped as to one effect he performed...(apart from his homage to crowley of course ;))

he told me to name any playing card, and he had a corner of that very same card in his wallet...

it's probably somthing absurdly simple..

Love

I agree, those videos make him come across quite boring and monotone. His style of hypnosis in mentalism, dress sense etc. made me initially compare him with Derren Brown (as I'm sure he took alot of influence from) whose presentation style was a million miles away from Paul's on those videos.

I actually bought a few of Paul's books regardless as the constant praise for them was overwhelming and I must say I have no regrets. His books are fantastic and I'm glad I didn't judge his literature on those videos. I'm glad to hear he's moved on from that 'appearance and presentation style' as it wasn't easy to watch. I hope he doesn't read this and take offense beacause I do admire his work.

I look forward to his upcoming books and projects and I'll be first in line to purchase the next Paul Brook offering.

Paul was kind enough to share this with me... Beautiful and simple! I have used it several times and it is going into my performance.

I had trouble getting into the products site from the front pages. The site just seemed to loop back to itself.

But I emailed Paul and he sent me a direct link.

And then I spent money. :(

I think you've missed his point 'boss'. I think he's suggesting that he can't get into the site because he started this thread.

I don't think Paul is that small a person. On top of that, I can't get logged into Paul's site and forum and we're decent friends e.g. I'd say that it could have to do with more technical issues or, if you're like me, just being a techno-ignoramus.

Paul's just released a new product called "Thought Reader Card". He explained it's working over the phone a couple of weeks ago, and it really is very clever.

As some of you will have heard by now, Paul Brook was involved in serious accident on his way back from Tabula Mentis yesterday. Apparently another car ploughed into his car at speed and Paul is in hospital - no news about his condition at the moment. I'm sure you'll all join me in sending thoughts and prayers his way wishing him a speedy recovery.

I don't know him or know much about his work but I actually gasped when hearing that!

Thoughts to him and his family!
