I'm a very recent convert to Loops. They're versatile, and if you get into the habit of wearing them day-to-day, can almost be used as a device for 'impromptu' demonstrations.

Aside from that, I find IT to be more hassle than it's worth.

So I'm as intrigued as you!

M5 magnets combined with shimmed items, PK rings. They will help. depends what you want to move. Bending spoons is kind of from the same "family" of effects and for that I can recommend Banacheck's material as a good place to start.

You'll probably get a lot more responses, but my experience has been to start small and simple, and be creative.

I've got a Haunted Key and I keep it on my keyring. They're as cheap as chips and look like a deadlock key. My presentation is of a silent PK effect centred around the power in my left middle finger. I bring the key up to a point, stop to blow on my middle finger and rub it with my thumb, then concentrate again and send the key over slowly. A logical fallacy called false cause tends to make people see it as the finger remotely pushing the key up, then over and down - slowly, as if there really is some weird force being exerted. With a little suggestion work to finish, people swear the key is warm when they hold it and that the tip of my finger is cold when they examine it for magnets and suchlike. It's cheap to do, effective because of the silence, and clearly impossible. I may leave home without cards, but never my Haunted Key. People say "Show my friend that weird thing you do with keys", not "Show my friend that special key".

Oooo I so want one, lights off and on, TV turning on, radio turning on. Other appliances turning off and on, so cool. SO EXPENSIVE :(

It's not exactly innocent-looking either. I'd be concerned that the more miraculous the board is, the more it will look like a prop (and a trick).

Just allowing an ungimmicked, makeshift board work might be more effective in the minds of the spectators.

From the description, it seems that a certain amount of preparation is required to make the lights TV and radio do their thang. Okay, you could make the excuse of 'cleansing the room' before the seance, but I'd imagine that you've still got some serious cleaning up to do afterwards.

Don't get me wrong - in the right hands it could be an absolute gem, but I can't help but see it as a substitute for audience involvement. And a potential spell-breaker, rather than the ultimate convincer.

And could the video be any more tacky?

I have one that I rarely do because I still have the smallest hope that people are not as dumb as I have come to believe we are and I cannot imagine that it actually fools people, let alone entertain them. Yet the rare time I do perform it never fails me.

You take a small piece of paper or perhaps a larger piece such as a 1.00 bill. Fold it in half then unfold it an place it on the table so that it stays up on its edge.

Then concentrate intently on the paper then you place your hands together in prayer fashion slowly bringing them to your chin. Then to your left ear, then the right and then back to your chin. Then as if touched by your mind the piece of paper moves across the surface.

And no you don't blow, you can put on a surgeon's mask and it will still work. Follow the above and it should work. There are a couple of things you can do to 'tweak' it. If you are brave and really want to try this out you can send me a message on how to make it work if you haven't figured it out by now.

If I'm having a slow night in the seance room or with the glass moving, I always explain that positive energy helps the spirits to come through. And the best form of positive energy is laughter. So I say this, and you may need to say it out loud:
Did you hear about the zoo that only had one dog? Yes, it was s*** zoo.

Normally the glass starts moving pretty soon afterwards.

Honestly, I show no respect for the solemnity of the seance room. It's straight to hell for me. Or if I get famous, straight to hello.

any ways, if you want things to switch on or off, these days, you can get a remote controll gadget, from many suppliers, that turns things off, rather than poping them on stand by.

this kind of thing..

3 of them for 8 quid....Bargain!

if they have sold out, ( which it looks like they have,)
try any of these links...
