Ellusionist stuff on eBay!!

Postby Fox100 » Jul 25th, '08, 13:19

Just wanted to let the UK magic community folk know that if you're like me and drool over all the stuff on the Ellusionist site  you can get most of it on ebay at pretty good prices! Much cheaper than ordering it over with the shipping and steep import duties and such things!

There's loads of decks of cards and instructional DVDs and even Ultragaff training plus cards which I'm super tempted to buy. :D

Anyway just a heads up.

No way!! I'd buy loads! This forums awesome! I only looked so I could tell people about cheap stuff on ebay but I'm a bit hooked now.

I got one of those ghose card holder thingys made out of stainless steel and all engraved from ebay for £6 and I love it! :D I remember a month or so ago looking for ellusionist dvds on ebay and not finding any  now you can't search magic without them popping up all over the shop!

Well, if you're hooked maybe you should pop over to the introduction section and let everyone know who you are. :D

Products on eBay are practically trade prices. Competition is so steep. You can get some real bargains

Perhaps you'd consider a few other ebay purchases which will get you a good bit further than anything from ellusionist:

Mark Wilson's Complete Course

The Royal Road to Card Magic

Expert at the Card Table

Prices are just as good, but the value is far, far better.

The first is one of the best books of magic for the money and great for beginners to get the basics and find what areas they are especially interested in.

The others are two of the classic texts on card magic, which I note because you said you had a special interest in card magic.

Buy books (especially these), in time you will not regret it.

Thanks..! I've already got the royal road to card magic, was highly recommended by a friend! I regret I haven't read it yet

I'll have a look at the other two! Thanks for taking the time to find them for me!

No problem. They are also available at many bookstores, so you may want to consider that option to avoid any shipping costs.

I've seen both RRTCM and Mark Wilson's in my library, you might want to check that out to.

Strangely enough I went to our local library, the first time for about 20 years, and their selection of magic was Teach Yourself Conjuring, Derren Brown's Tricks of the Mind, Mark Wilson's Encyclopaedia and......that was it! I'm not sure if I ought to stir them up and ask them to order in more magic books or say nothing so nobody else visiting the library get have access to all those secrets..... 8)

Request that they have a "Secrets Area (Restricted Access)"
