Magical Murder

Postby Ian The Magic-Ian » Jul 27th, '08, 21:37

I'm developing a new mentalist routine based on magic murder I have it already but it seems to be missing something. The basis is a large killing spree with one killer who committed suicide (I know it's charming), but the way it happens is they can't tell who the killer is so they have to fowllow all the evidence to lead them to the killer.

It should be a nice routine but it is, like I said missing something, so I have two questions. Alright, can Killer Elite Pro be adapted to suit specific needs, basically I need it to be able at the end to have pictures of the "suspected' killers, and when whichever card is chosen, on the back is written killer.

Next one is does anyone know any specific tricks that are killer based. I'm think if KEP can't be adapted. Then I'll buy Five Fickle Fingers because I quite like the basics of the effects. But If anyone else has suggestions they are very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Ian

You may want to invest into my Psychic Technologies manual... it covers this sort of thing big time... basically revealing tons about the act I've done for years as a Psychic Sleuth

The Smiling Assassin (possibly not using smiley faces - it kills the drama somewhat).

Nope. As far as I'm aware Andy Nyman's 'Killer Elite Pro' can't be adapted to have any card say killer on the back. It's a different principle to what you are probably imagining. It's not a technique to have any free choice have something different written on the reverse, although you have now got me thinking about how that could be acheived. I'm going to be racking my brains to try and invent a way for that to be possible.

In fact, the Crystal Method would be one way to do that... Hmmm... Kate's brainbox is whirring into action... :p

Not including the Crystal Method, I can think of a few other ways of doing this effect. 'Killer Elite Pro' isn't one of them! Check out 'Diceman', as Relish suggested.

Alright, I believe I have the routine worked out and I might get a video of it up soon after Labor Day.
