TAC TICS - Coin in TicTac Box

Postby TylerMason » Jul 30th, '08, 16:47

I have been reading a couple of previous reviews here for similar sounding "coin in Tic Tac box" effects, and was wondering if the versions reviewed here, are the same as the one sold at Magicbox called "Tac Tics"

http://www.magicbox.uk.com/shop.php/sho ... _1027.html

If anyone uses a version of this effect in their close-up perfomances, please could you view the above link, and let me know whether "Tac Tics" has anything new to offer in place of existing methods.

Not being familar with this effect, I know neither the method, nor what the difference is betwen this and it's competitor tricks of the same nature.

Please advise which is the best version to learn, and why? What advantages do previously marketed versions of this trick have over the "Tac Tics" version, which I only found at Magicbox today.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks for your time.

I have not seen this item, however by watching the video, i could make more than an educated guess as to how it is done.
what i will say is,
the coin, which can be borrowed, and the box will be un gaffed.

I can say that on a previous version, hmm, how can I say this...

On a previous version the coin penetrates the box and is shown inside the box. Then the coin is removed from the tic tac box and then the spectator can examine the box. the box and coin were ungimmicked both could be borrowed. The limitation was that you could not give the spectator the box while the coin was inside. It seems you can on the one your link goes to...according to the add anyway. I have not handled any version but the one I described.
