Oh dear, another criss angel thread!
I don't think exposing him here is a good idea. We're all well aware of his methods and practices

Yes, but as Angel is one of the very few high-profile magicians on mainstream media today, he shapes the public's perception of what we're all about.

So I think a thorough slagging is perfectly justified.

I agree with the others on this thread who have remarked that if he blows a live trick himself, it's hardly exposure to mention it. It might or might not be polite, but it's not exposure.

I also don't see how it's exposure. Unless people really think he was in the building as it collapsed then pointing out that he scuttled off to a safe distance doesn't really count as exposure. It's not like 'pretending to be somewhere you're not' is a magical technique in and of itself.

I watched this stunt with my nine year old brother "live" the other day. We watched in awe and amazement that someone was going to put their life at risk like this... Until the helicopter took off and we realized that it wasn't as exciting as we thought. Criss' real trick? The uncanny ability to create hype for something that isn't really worth watching.

Now don't get me wrong! I love to watch Criss when he is on tv. But not because of his magic. Because of his message that you can do anything and to go for your dreams no matter what the cost. Honestly, he should have been a motivational speaker instead and had magic on the side as a way to help his seminars.

The highlight of the stunt? Me and my brother both agreed it was the nicely placed snap kicks to get through the apartment window ^_^

Wouldn't it be wonderful if all boring, mediocre, nothing special, wannabe celebrity magicians like Criss Angel, would simply just disapear up their own a**holes!

Now that's a stage illusion I'd love to see. The advertisment poster for the show would look hillarious.

I don't believe that is physically possible, but you do have a point. It would be some show.

But as far as this idea, I do believe we are acting a bit asinine. (warned you guys in the intro that I had a bad habit with puns!)

Cirque du So-lay's Mysteries Of The Sphinx(ter) Featuring:
-Chriss Anal
-Penn and Tellher To Stay Still
-And Magicians who have learned their secrets from the London based "Magic Circle" Library

Oh the possibilities are endless with this one

Say what you want it's an open discussion and I'm not going to stop anyone's opinions on Criss Angel, but I can't wait to see his Cirque Du Soleil show it looks like it could be really cool.

Barton: Have you read the Bible, Pete?
Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

To be truthfully honest, I want to see it too. I just like poking fun at whatever I can.
