Why the question marks? Are you unsure of telling me hello and welcome?

Or is your subconsious telling you to not believe me? You think I'm a mental case, perhaps... That is fine by me... That is what makes REAL magic rare... The human brain will not accept anything that doesn't fall under natural law...

I accept your own shortcomings, as that has been the way all of us (or most of us) have been raised...

I belive you may have stumbled across the wrong forum my friend, this forum is for the mundane non arcane forms of magic.
its for the discussion of tricks and other froms of deception and not for real magic and and incantations.

if you wish to talk magic in the performing scense then welcome and enjoy your stay.
if your only interest is in real magic, incantational or etherical or spiritual then your words will fall on stoney ground and i sugest you go in peace, there are other froums that will welcome you with open arms.

either way are thoughts are with you. :D

what is it that you fear? Tricks are only deceptions, so why not be interested in TRUE power...?

It's not a matter of fear - we are here to debate a different kind of magic, or tricks as you refer to them and if we were interested in the pagan side of magic then we would go elsewhere.

I must add that your comment on FairieSnuff's meaning behind his question marks was a little prosumptious and the response a little arrogant and unneccessary for someone just joining a site.

But I forgive you and thanks for visiting us. May the force be with you, nanu nanu

I suggest you let the person be. I think he/she is just trying to get attention. Just like the old saying say "Don't feed the troll."

My friend, I have looked into this before briefly, and have decided it wasn't much for me. However, it may be what you are meant for. Either which way, if you are interested, i suggest you try googling "spirit online" I can't remember the exact website though, but I find it to be informative.

For the time being, while you are here, I would suggest you learn a few tricks. You may find it broadens your outlook on what may be achieved in both the Magickal and Non-Magickal worlds. Not a typo, most Magick users prefer to spell it this way due to mix-ups with the performance Magic.

Oh and do be careful, and very precise. One wrong thing can mess you up bad.

Havoc, further to Elemental's advice, this is the website you seek:

http://mindbodyspirit-online.com/

And not a trick in sight.

Lol @ marvomarky!!

i appreciate the interest, iain...

Just some basic things to grasp, before you throw yourself into learning magic...

And first warning is that there are bad things that you expose yourself to, but if you follow all of the rules, you are likely not to succumb to those things...

Also, magic is neither evil, nor good... It is simply a tool, that can be used either to help others, or help yourself... The latter may result in a destructive manner... But magic, in and of itself, is nuetral... All up to how the person wants to use it...

There are many ABSTRACT laws of magic. They are not clearly defined or precise, like physical laws, but sorcererss from medeival times up to modern day studiers, have worked hard to set up a basic set of laws, for the followers to study..

You will not find these laws anywhere on the internet, as they are held within a secret society, but i will Post SOME of the general laws of magic. They are very general, and quite OVERBROAD and refer to many things in life, not just magic:

1. Understanding brings control. The more you learn the stronger you will become; the more that is known about something, the easier it is to have control over it.

2. Familiarity with your own strengths and weaknesses is necessary to learn magic.

3. If two ideas, persons, places, or things have something in common (that is, they can be associated with each other), they can affect each other through that commonality. In other words, associations create potential magical links.

those are just a few of the laws of magic... Many more important laws, there are, but didnt feel like writing an essay just yet, lol...
