harada hold help

Postby shanek » Aug 8th, '08, 02:48

i have recently purchased the harada hold but i am having a difficulty bending/moving my hand to do the hold. I know it takes practice but i dont think thats the problem. i cannot get my hand to bend like that to do the "move". this is the first time my hands were incapable of something like this but i would really like to have this trick down. if you own this routine please try to help me out a little bit if you can or have an idea or something...if you want to be nice and help we could instant message...just reply and leave your IM name.

-thank you

I don't have this but when I started the charlier or maybe it was revolution... No, it was backp**m, anyways my hand always seemed to small and like I couldn't bend my finger that way.

So now I'll get to the point, I think your problem is you just need to practice. I don't own the harada, so I may be way off (as is my tendecy), but I do believe that all is needed is more practice.

If what you said is true than you just got it. Now with sleight of hand if you just get a product or learn a sleight. Than it'll take more than a day or two after just getting it to be able to pull it off.

Hope this helps

Ian

Pete: Holy Bible?
Barton: Yeah.
Pete: Yeah, I think so. Anyway, I've heard about it.

Okay, The Harada hold can be quite painful, you need a Lot of practice, and practice with both wrists if you can. You have to bend you hands towards each other slighty and up, (like your pushing against something) The more practice you get, the less painful it becomes and you may be able to clip it in with just your thumbs.

hope this was helpful to you

I thought the same thing about the arm twisting illusion. I was sure I'd never be able to put my arms in the correct position. With enough practice it soon became second...okay third nature.
