ESPerfect is a wonderful stand alone effect - the DVD gives some great new genre bending ideas that can spark your own imagination.

If you don't have ESPerfect - then without doubt buy this. (There is a reveiw somewhere). If you do already have ESPerfect - well I will leave it up to you as to if you buy the dvd. It is good though. I was very impressed.

I was fortunate enough to have been present at the dvd shoot for it - and I can tell you when Spelmann and Nardi get together there is a lot of laughs.

certainly the main effect itself is something I bought in 2003 an dsomething I am still doing - I cant say that about much else.

If you do get it - I would love to hear your thoughts

At Alakazam it says "in stock now".
I'm getting more and more tempted...

The DVD also comes with a .pdf file of a very nice mentalism effect by Simon something-or-other... very good and a nice little bonus for the price.

I've got a couple of full reviews ahead of me, but what you get is the DVD showing the basic effect (with ESP cards), plus the necessary cards to perform it. You are also shown a few other variations, using regular playing cards and also cards with writing or ticks and crosses. You don't get the props to perform these versions, but I have to say I like the ESP card one best anyway.

You also get a slightly different handling of the effect and the .pdf I mentioned above. I think that's pretty good for the price.

I only watched this a few days ago, and had a couple of nice ideas for Tarot cards.

Found this trailer for it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2BlExwrCA0

Is the taster test he does part of the effect and is it a 100% hit? Or is it closer to 40%?

Not sure if we're all on about the same thing, but the stand alone effect E.S.P Perfect where you and the spec have a set of ESP cards and they perfectly match as you put them down one at a time is available FOR FREE on the DVD included in this monthes Genii. The Dai Vernon - Erdnase hunt article is worth the price of the magazine alone. Brilliant stuff.

Thanks, Wild Card. E.S. Perfect is different, but I'm sure people will be interested in that DVD. E.S. Perfect involves just one card being chosen.

Aha, I didn't think they would release it for free if there was a whole DVD deidcated to it! Quite a niftly little trick though.

There's no reason why an unscrupulous person wouldn't reveal someone else's method on a DVD, sadly.

It's a free Alakazam DVD catalogue with three bonus tricks (including ESP PERFECT), which is an effect put out by alakazam, luckily.

In that case, maybe I am wrong. Your reference to putting the cards down one at a time threw me.

Sounds like it really might be worth people picking up that magazine. I assume they don't get the cards, the different handlings or the .pdf file, so there is something that makes the full E.S. Perfect DVD valuable.
