Consider doing something such as writing on the back. That's always easy .
I thought about doing such a thing in the past, but I always thought that they would figure it out pretty easily anyways. Or at least get the general idea.
But if they sign the back, yes, it's very possible.

if you do a DL you can let them sign the card on both sides, this way you could 'transfer' the back signature to the joker card. that would be cool too.
