I never really tend to take much notice of the skill ratings to be honest. You don't really have to be around here to long to know who's worth listening to and who isn't.

As long as im still searching and looking and learning i guess thats what ill always be to me, unless i can make a career out of it in which case id change it.

Technically, even though it's a perceptional thing, you can't stay as an EN. In fact, you should be forced off by the mods.

For how long can you call yourself a Newcomer? It's not so much a level of ability as it is a timescale. It's like an initial probation period. If you've lasted and maintained your interest in magic, then it is time to call yourself an amateur hobbyist.
Maybe you can stay at that level for life.

Well, it would if you were a card magician. If you specialised in coins then the ability to shuffle wouldn't even come into the equation, I wouldn't think.

I can't false transfer to save my life, but that's because I just use coins for spendin'... on cards :)
