Hey folks I am struggling a little with the Shadow Principle....

When I tried it first few times I got it spot on, but now Ive read instructions Im struggling to differentiate between two of the "sizes"...
Anyone else had this problem...

I've not known DIE-CIPHER to use a shadow tell... we're not talking about Red Caps here...

I can see where some may think themselves skilled enough to judge shadow on the brass can but that would vary significantly based on the light source and intensity thereof. My old eyes certainly couldn't pick up the subtle differences but then I have problems with certain ESP cards that are on the market.

There's an old saying in magic (I know it's old, I heard Vernon using it all the time) KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID!

We magic buff types love complicating things... we run when we're not being chased e.g. you need to learn to stop running and practice crawling a tad.

I have seen this done using the shadow principle, and yes it does require particular lighting conditions, but if these are present, then you have an alternative method for achieving the effect, which to me is a bonus.
