Your average Aardvark is a very cautious creature and is rarely seen in daylight. Well, at least we don't see many in Birmingham!

Just a small addition about Aardvarks -
They have long noses, live underground and eat small intsects. Very similar to an anteater. Also, as it begins with two 'A's it's usually found at the beginning of a dictionary or encyclopedia. Not very magical but quite a cool animal if you ever get to see one on a wldlife show.

aardvarks can be foun in many magical places such as,
-hiding in a deck of cards(bicycle of course  )
-Hiding on or in a singular card (as above)
-you can keep a rabbit in an aardvark
-sitting on your thumb waiting to ponce, spitting colourful streamers
-sitting on your hand to guzzle anything within it
-locked in my cupboard

Hmmmm.....

so to clarifie then an ardvark can represent a gaff or part there of.

an eggsample you have this wonderfull cup that can hold liquid when inverted useing a flap.
the flap on open forum would be called the ardvark, therfore you could say my cups ardvark is a bit loose.

a reply would be, add some pva to your ardvark to give it a better grip.

do you grt the picture / ardvark now m8.

Aardvark = Thingummie = McGuffin (if you're a Hitchcock fan) = Lemon

(And they said George III was insane!)

OK, now I'll tell you the true story!

Last year we were revising the Review template and the classification of difficulty of 1 to 5 started as 1 = So easy anyone could do it. Then we thought that might be a bit of a strong statement as there's always someone who can't do things and, in the usual descent into stupidity, we changed it to a Lemon could do it and then an Aardvark could do it.

Eventually Aardvark and Lemon becme euphemisms for words we couldn't use in public - the Invisible Aardvark and R&S Lemons being some of the better choices!

So you see folks, the true answer is always far more stupid than you ever imagined!

... and if we just slice open this LEMON, was that your AARDVARK.

Y'know, that trick works very well indeed as long as you use Blue Backed Aardvarks.
