does anyone know where i can find a black skinned TT for a friend? i am aware that it doesn't matter entirely as you can have the tip bright blue and people usually wont notice but he doesn't feel comfortable with using one the wrong color (and he also finds it a bit insulting)
any web sites or shops in London/Leeds ?

Try this: http://www.cards4magic.co.uk/acatalog/Thumb_Tips.html
It's got one that's a bit darker, hopefully what you're friend's looking for.
If not, then he can always just get one and paint it black.

THanks Magic Herring for the link: I have been looking for a bit darker (asian) tips for a while. I have heard it before that the colour doesn't really matter, but being honest; when I see some stuff by someone like Sanders: even when I am watching his thumb, its still pretty hard to see. With my skin colour, I think it flashes all the time (hey, you need to take that finger out in the sun a bit more kind of deal)
