Does anyone know where you can get any one of these books. I have found pure effect for like £160. But i can't seem to find absolute magic i don't care what eddition iwould just like the book. Any help would be aprecheated. You can pm me if you want to.

I live in the UK so American sites wont really help.

Both are now rare items so e-bay is perhaps your only source. As far as I know, the usual magic supply sites sold all their stock ages ago, sorry.

They're quite limited stock, hopefully they don't all sell out!

They've had very limited stock for some time now, so either they have more stock than they're letting on or the books are not selling quite as fast as you might think. I know it's Derren, but it is an £80 book after all.

I hope you do know that there are no effects taught in Absolute Magic!

I would like to think that someone who intends to spend that sort of money on a book would've done a bit of research as to its contents. But then again, perhaps not. People never cease to amaze me.

What sort of level are you at in magic desmond?

As a newbie i found pure effect better than absolute, but thats only my viewpoint.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but £80 is way too expensive for what it is. Certainly the books are good and worth reading but you can buy an awful lot more with £80. Save your money, buy Mark Wilson or any of the other books mentioned here on TM.

Strong Magic by Darwin Ortiz is extremely good. It's only £30 and I took a lot more away from it that I did absolute magic.
