Did anyone else hear the Juan Tamariz lecture at the Eastbourne IBM meeting last Saturday? I thought it was truly inspirational but what did others think? I can't tell you how impressed I was to hear just how much thought goes into EVERY nuance of his performance.

I saw Juan at the South Tyneside festival earlier this year, and he was absolutely dazzling.

I'm quite disinterested in most card magic. You need something really special by way of a card trick to grab my attention, but Mr Tamariz had me utterly spellbound.

The man is phenomenal.

I was so in awe of him - every gesture, every tonal change in his voice, every body shift seemed to have a carefully studied purpose. The most amazing thing is that when you watch him perform it looks like utter chaos!
