a) No, the court cards are different

b) I don't quite understand what you mean Marvel, do you mean a convincing shade of purple? If so, yes - they are indeed purple. Imagine if you had been drinking port for thirty years and you look at your nose in a shaving mirror (magnified side). See that purple there? That's your answer.

What I meant was, ... if you took the red of the red cards and the blue of the blue cards and mixed them together, would they make the purple of the purple cards?

I can avoid using the court cards, so long as the faces of the rest are the same as a normal deck. If it comes to it, I'll split and make my won court cards.

After much discussion and a bad (although returnable) purchase, it appears that there is no purple deck which has normal spot card faces.
