My Introduction to TalkMagic

Postby Magic Tower » Oct 8th, '08, 17:16

Hi I'm Kevin

I live in Blackpool in the United Kingdom and have been interested in magic for a few years but have only really seriously started to learn and practise recently

I got interested again in magic when I got divorced and discovered a couple of my magic books and packet tricks and started to utilise them as a way to keep my 7 year old little boy distracted when he got bored. Upon hearing his laughter and seeing his enjoyment I have decided to learn more and also perfect some of the tricks I already know.

Currently I am working on a lot of self working tricks so that I have some tricks that I can do whilst i am learning more about the basics as ike any beginner I attemped to run before i could even crawl.

I would like to perform one day but am trying to learn as much as I can about the basics and am not yet sure as to what direction i will end up taking with my magic.

I do know that that I will make as much use of the forums as possible so that it will assist in my efforts to learn as much as I can and hopefully avoid a lot of common mistakes made by us newbies.

Take no notice of that comment, it's just that there's a portrait in the attic getting younger every day...anyways, welcome to TM!
