COMPETITION - Win Derren's 'Tricks of The Mind' book

I've been given a brand new copy of Derren Brown's 'Tricks of The Mind' book - the one that accompanied his Channel 4 series.

I've already got a well-thumbed copy of it so I thought I'd give the new one away to one lucky TM member. Well, I've got nothing better to do...

Thank you to Mandrake, who is aware of this competition and is allowing me to do it.

So... here's the idea:

The book is completely brand new except for one slight modification; one of the pages is bent over in one of those annoying, dog-ear, impromptu bookmark ways. Post a reply and tell me which page is bent and win the book. This paperback edition has 392 numbered pages.

Here are the rules:

1) Please don't enter if you already own a copy of this book - be fair and let someone win who genuinely wants it.

2) If you're a lurker, don't just join the forum in order to enter the competition. Only entries from known TM members will be counted.

3) Feel free to guess as many times as you like, but only one guess per post and you must wait until three others have guessed before you guess again.

4) I need to post this to you, so don't enter if you're not prepared to email me your postal address. I don't mind posting worldwide but I'm in the UK so if you live in a country that you know is notoriously expensive to send parcels to then PM me first. Europe, USA and Canada are absolutely fine.

5) Mandrake has asked me to include the stipulation that all decisions are final - just to cover myself if for whatever reason somebody gets uppity ;)

I think that's about it. So, if you fancy a copy of this excellent book, get your psychic hat on and start churning out digits.

I already own it, *cough cough Signed on day of release cough cough* but I think page 212. I know I can't guess, but if I am right, it just proves that...actually, it proves nothing.

QOfC

I have a copy and so cannot play seriously but I see that my copy has indeed the 241/242 page bent over in the corner.

Nothing like a bingo prize draw from a monarch of the clubs to harness one's pseudo text analysis: hmm... I'm sensing there's a roundness to one of the digits, I'm picking up on a eight - no, a three... there's definitely three figures, yes... the crease has been folded forwards... You're right-handed, aren't you? I can almost picture the fold on the right hand side, at the very upper right corner

283?

I've always used a blue backed Bicyle Joker as a bookmark

What fun!
