A couple of magicians here formed a group, which was founded six years ago, (now numbering 7 members) for magicians that had already been performing, either street or stage magic. we have a meeting once every two weeks on a certain day at 5:00 pm. If someone has a trick they are prepared to use they bring it in front of the other 6 to "check" if they are ready to use it. A group like this also brings encouragement and can help you improve. For a new member to join a majority vote should decide.

P.S. As a guideline a group should strive to stay small and discreet. If someone reveals to people of where, when, and what you exactly do; don't be afraid to warn them once and then get rid of the member. Remember magic is supposed to be kept a secret.
